It develops a plan that meets the specific insurance needs of a client. It then markets the plan to various insurance carriers to secure the right coverage at a competitive rate. An employer may contract more than one insurance carrier for specific insurance needs.
Because D&R provides full administration and has in-house technical expertise, it can produce a single invoice and a single point of contact that makes administration simple and cost efficient.
A marketing review process includes the answers to 50 questions sent to potential carriers, a detailed report and a summary presentation. How much a program will cost today and for the next three years, a meeting with the selected carrier(s) and a tour of the carrier facilities are also included in the process.
A D&R consultant assigned to a client will keep track of the program and in touch with the client to ensure the plan continues to meet objectives and that the carrier(s) remains the most appropriate.
